This project involved the design and construction of a custom hardwood pergola and structural extension, carefully integrated with the client’s existing timber deck. The new structure features a striking exposed timber framework with precision-engineered connections and detailed slatted ceiling elements, creating a warm and refined outdoor entertainment space.

Special attention was given to seamlessly tying the new pergola into the existing deck, ensuring structural integrity while maintaining a cohesive architectural aesthetic. Steel support elements were incorporated to provide long-term stability without compromising the clean, modern finish.

The completed project enhances the functionality of the original deck, transforming it into a sophisticated, weather-protected outdoor living area that blends natural materials with contemporary design.
